2026.08.10

Innovation-Driven Development! JumpCan Pharmaceutical's independently developed Class 1.1 innovative traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) drug, Xiao'er Tongbian Granules, has officially received marketing approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). This new product launch marks a significant milestone in the company's continued commitment to innovative R&D and its strategic expansion into pediatric therapeutics, further enriching its product portfolio and broadening clinical treatment options in the field of pediatric digestive health.

Inheriting Classical Formulas, Filling the Gap for Pediatric-Specific Innovative TCM

Xiao'er Tongbian Granules is the first innovative TCM drug approved for pediatric constipation under the new regulatory framework and guidelines for TCM innovation. As the pioneering innovative product in this therapeutic area, it fills the long-standing gap in domestically developed TCM formulations specifically designed for children's constipation. The formula originates from a clinical prescription developed by pediatric expert Chen Yonghui from Capital Center for Children’s Health, Capital Medical University. Clinical validation has confirmed its efficacy in invigorating the spleen, regulating qi, promoting digestion, and relieving constipation.

Dual-Track Strategy: Synergizing Internal R&D with Strategic Partnerships to Drive Sustainable Industry Growth

In recent years, JumpCan Pharmaceutical has pursued a dual-track approach combining independent research with strategic collaborations, yielding multiple breakthroughs in its 2026 innovation roadmap. Within this year alone, the company has secured three commercial business development (BD) partnerships, acquiring commercialization rights for three innovative products: Ebronucimab Injection (Yixining), a Class 1 innovative monoclonal antibody; a Class 1 innovative JAK1/2 inhibitor Pumecitinib (PG-011) Nasal Spray; and Benvitimod Cream (Zelimei), an innovative topical formulation. These products span multiple therapeutic areas including dermatology, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory medicine. Additionally, the company's strategic partner's Class 1 anti-influenza innovative drug, Sebaloxavir Marboxil Tablets (Jikeshu), received NMPA approval in June for adolescent indications, further expanding its target patient population.

Meanwhile, the company's internal R&D pipeline continues to advance steadily, strengthening its research and industrialization capabilities while focusing on unmet clinical needs and driving the development of innovative drugs and improved new drugs. In April this year, the NMPA accepted the company's marketing application for Chaige Tuire Oral Liquid, a Class 1.1 TCM new drug, which is expected to enhance its competitive position and growth potential in the respiratory market. The recent approval of Xiao'er Tongbian Granules demonstrates the company's comprehensive strengths in discovering and inheriting classical formulations while driving pharmaceutical innovation.

Looking Ahead, JumpCan Pharmaceutical will continue to uphold its vision of "Build a joyful and vibrant life together," remaining guided by public health needs. The company is committed to advancing innovative drug development and translating research into clinical practice, improving access to high-quality medicines, and contributing to the high-quality development of China's healthcare and pharmaceutical industries through sustained and reliable innovation capabilities.
